May 12, 2012 11:57 am EST--- The foot marker of HERO Solider Misty Dawn Szekely is now in place, and headstones will be installed within 8 to 10 weeks ...It will be a heavenly sight to see once complete! Updates with new pictures will be added here on this site as the project moves forward...So please check back! This project is made possible by Misty father, Stepmother and sister Angel. Each person that has give to help with the project, are claim at bottom of this page...The Family calls each of them, EARTHLY ANGELS!

| Sat, May 12, 2012 3:57 am---- Misty girl I am lost for words it's been a little over a month and there is not a day I don't go with out thinking about you!! You were my sister and always will be! I love you so much and I miss you more than words could say! But I know to this day and remember all the crazy, fun, late nights at the ball field! Spending the night at my house, late night talks!! And everything!! You never stopped smiling!! you always knew what to say!! I watch you grow up and become a beautiful girl but I know that I know I will see you on the other side!! I love you sister!! Watch other everyone!! :) I will never forget a memory we shared you will always always always have a place In my heart!!!! | 5/7/12 /5:23 am----- Misty was a best friend, a daughter, a sister, a godmother, a grand daughter, and a soldier. Misty was so much more though. She was a person anyone could come to, she was a shoulder to cry on, she was a listening ear, and she was a battle buddy. Misty had great aspirations for life and she knew what she wanted. Misty meant so much to me. She was an amazing best friend, she was a sister to me. She was my battle buddy. Misty.... I miss you so much and I cannot wait to see you again. I watched the news from the burial. I couldn't stand the fact that it was you. I miss you. I know your looking down upon all of us.. But it's weird without you here... | Misty Dawn was a wonderful young lady that had a heart of gold. She loved to help people in anyway she could and she touched so many life's in more ways than one. She didn't have to know you to want to be able to help you and if you were sad she was just the kind of person that could lift you up by the little goofy things she would do. I feel very lucky to have been in her life in someway. She will be missed but never forgotten. I'm going to miss her dearly but it is a very good feeling to know that we are going to have this angel watching over us all. So if I could ask for one thing it would be that you remember all that she has done in life and death and know that we all are very lucky to have known such a sweet loving young women. As adults and friends of Misty's we miss her very much and she touched all of our life's but we sometimes for get the others she touched and they would like to say they miss her to the little ones who life's she touched as well. Ava misses her so bad that at night she sleep with Misty's stuff dog that she gave her and remembers the fun time she had with Misty.
